About the event

Cohosted by the Harvard Club of New York City, this event delved into the essential role philanthropy plays in fostering sustainable impact across generations, particularly within families with multi-generational wealth. Through thoughtful dialogue, panelists described how to integrate philanthropy into professional journeys and explored the mechanisms that drive strategic giving.

Our esteemed panelists included Patrick W. McGrory, Chairman of the Raskob Foundation for Catholic Activities, whose experience spans family philanthropy and wealth management; Lou D’Addario, a representative from Foundation Source specializing in private foundations and donor-advised funds; and Michael Sheldrick, co-founder of Global Citizen, renowned for his global philanthropic initiatives.

An in-depth moderated discussion was followed by an interactive Q&A session, where attendees asked poignant technical and personal questions. The event concluded with hors d'oeuvres and a reception, providing an excellent opportunity for guests to connect with like-minded individuals passionate about impactful giving.
